Hi Friends!
What a ride this pregnancy has been. Even though I haven’t been able to leave the house or be around friends and family lately, I’m grateful for a healthy and strong little girl. We’ve missed out on a lot of things that come along with expecting a baby. Maybe the little things aren’t that important to other people, but I have looked forward to experiencing so many things in pregnancy. I looked forward to friends and family touching my growing belly, taking pictures with people I love to show Brooklyn one day, being pregnant alongside my sister, and people bringing me sweet treats just because I’m the pregnant lady! haha
One thing I really hoped I would get to do is take maternity pictures. I didn’t know if it would happen, but I’m so glad that Jesus knows the desires of our hearts and put it on our friends heart to make a maternity photo shoot happen before Brooklyn’s arrival. Van Ware (@waretheheartisphotography) has been on the photography scene for just about a year but has already blown us away with his work. We were thrilled to get photo’s taken with him. He captured our family so beautifully and we’re so grateful to have these memories for years to come.
All of these photos were taken in Houston, TX in the Museum District and Herman Memorial Park. My dress was gifted to me from Mother Bee Maternity! Enjoy seeing our first official family portraits!
